[1] Palestinian Legislative Election was scheduled for 22 May 2021 but on 29 April 2021 Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas indefinitely postponed the election.

[3] The first round of Election in Palestine was held on 11 December 2021 for 154 towns in West Bank. The second round of election will be held in 66 Palestinian cities on 26 March 2022.

Minakshi Sardar has received her Ph. D. from the Centre for West Asian Studies, School of International Studies, JNU, New Delhi. Her doctoral thesis was on the Process of Normalization of Israel-Vatican Relations, 1948-1993. She did her M Phil from the same centre on Israel’s Responses to Hostage Taking. Her area of interest focuses Middle East politics, Arab-Israeli Conflict, Christianity, security issues, and conflict resolutions. She has presented at several conferences and seminars on the region. She has been preparing China Watch (since August 2015), Election Watch (since July 2017) for MEI. She is an Editorial Assistant of the Journal of Indo-Judaic Studies since 2020.
