Ms. Sweta Basak is currently pursuing her M Phil from the Centre for West Asian Students in Jawaharlal Nehru University. Before joining the center she was interning with the Public Policy and Research Division of Ministry of External Affairs. She holds her Masters degree in Politics and International Relations from JNU. She has presented her papers in many international and national forums like Ban Ki Moon Centre for Global Citizens,Vienna; National Nuclear Research University, Moscow and in CTBTO: Preparatory Commission, UN city Vienna etc. She graduated from Presidency University, Kolkata with a B.A. degree in Political Science major.
