hails from Kerala, India and is Professor of Economics and Finance at Pace University in New York and conducts research in the areas of corporate finance, law and economics. In addition to his research on mainstream economics, he has also published several scholarly articles using economic analysis for understanding issues in Mishnah and Talmud. He speaks more than a dozen languages including Yiddish, Hebrew, Tamil and Hindi. He lives in Teaneck, NJ and serves on the board of directors of his synagogue.
