The authorities in Egypt ordered the arrest of Hosni Mubarak’s last prime minister Ahmed Shafiq on suspicion of corruption. Shafiq has been living in UAE after he narrowly lost the presidential elections in June and has been barred from travel using his Egyptian passport since last month.
