Islamabad, Monday, 3 July 2017
Special Assistant to Prime Minister Asif Kirmani declared that Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing corruption allegations against Nawaz Sharif would visit Qatar to record the Qatari prince’s statement.

3. Failed coup attempt in Turkey commemorated
Islamabad, Thursday, 15 July 2017
The first anniversary of the coup attempt in Turkey was commemorated at Shaheen Complex, Lahore wherein Punjab Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Sanaullah Khan labelled it as “conspiracy against progress and prosperity of Turkish people.”

4. UAE condemns terrorist attack in Lahore 
Islamabad, Tuesday, 25 July 2017
The UAE condemned the terrorist attack in a vegetable market in Lahore on 24 July, which left 26 people dead.

5. Turkey, Pakistan to sign FTA in August

A Ministry of Commerce official informed that Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Turkey would be signed on 14 August, leading to increase and diversification of trade balance.

6. OIC underlines need to resolve Kashmir issue

The 44th session of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) held in Abidjan on 10-11 July discussed the situation in Indian administered Kashmir and urged India to implement the UNSC resolutions.

7. Pakistan, Egypt Squash series held in Islamabad
Islamabad, Sunday, 16 July 2017
Egypt won the International Squash series held in Islamabad from 12-16 July, with Army Chief Qamar Bajwa as the chief guest at the closing ceremony.

8. Hajj flights begin for a month
Islamabad, Sunday, 22 July 2017
According to Ministry of Religious Affairs, Hajj scheme began flight operations to take over 7,000 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from 24 July until 26 August through 426 flights.

9. Turkey, Pakistan discuss cooperation in furniture industry 
Islamabad, Wednesday, 5 July 2017
Chief of Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC) Kashif Ashfaq informed that Turkish ‘Inegol Business Association’ would set up modern training centres across Pakistan to share latest technology and train the local woodworkers in modern product designing.
 
10. Pakistan signs scientific collaboration deals with Turkey, Iran
Islamabad, Wednesday, 12 July 2017
Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) entered joint collaboration with Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and eight joint projects with Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Iran to uplift Pakistani scientists in their scientific endeavours.
 
11. Pakistan condoles damages in Earthquake
Islamabad, Friday, 21 July 2017
Pakistan expressed sympathies over the deaths and damage caused by the earthquake on 20 July in Turkey’s Mugla Province at coast with the Aegean Sea. 
 
12. Pakistan, Turkey discuss medical cooperation 
Islamabad, Friday, 25 July 2017
A high-level Turkish delegation led by Director General Health Oner Guner discussed avenues of medical cooperation with special emphasis on liver transplant facilities and medical visa during a meeting with Pakistan’s National Health Minister Saira Afzal in Islamabad.
