Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah of Kuwait accepted the resignation Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al Sabah. He asked the prime minister and other ministers to continue as a caretaker government until a new Cabinet is formed. The resignation followed the the decision of the Constitutional Court that nullified the February legislative election and reinstatement of the previous house.
