Jamal Shara, President of Jordan Nuclear Regulatory Commission (JNRC) said that the experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had encouraged Jordan to join the Civil Liability Agreement for Nuclear Damage, regarding compensation given to victims of nuclear accidents within and outside countries’ borders. They also urged the inclusion of all the Kingdom’s obligations related to nuclear safety, which are derived from agreements signed with the IAEA, in the provisions of the proposed nuclear law.
